LESSON DURATION

Eine Lektion dauert in der Regel 120 Minuten und kostet 240 CHF. In dieser Zeit sind allfällige Instruktionen, Erläuterungen, Schlussbesprechung, Terminvereinbarung und Abrechnung inbegriffen.

CANCELLATION DUE TO BAD WEATHER

In the event of a storm warning or a heavy thunderstorm, the driving lesson may be postponed. The learner driver will not be charged for the canceled lesson. If the lesson is canceled during the lesson, the time already used will be charged.

DEREGISTRATION BY LEARNER DRIVER / DELAY

If an agreed lesson is canceled less than 72 hours in advance, the driving school may charge 75% of the normal price. The student bears the risk of illness or other reasons. In the event of delays, the driving school must be informed immediately by telephone. The lost time is always at the expense of the learner driver. If the driving school has not been informed of the delay, it is not obliged to wait any longer after a maximum waiting time of 15 minutes. In this case, the lesson will be charged at the full price. In the event of non-appearance on the agreed date, the agreed time will be charged in full.

• Example: Normal 1 lesson of 2 hours * 120 CHF = 240 CHF
  Cancellation less than 72 hours in advance: 240 * CHF 0.75 = CHF 180

INVOICING / TERMS OF PAYMENT

The costs for the driving school are to be paid in cash immediately before each lesson. However, the driving school normally issues invoices at the end of each month by invoice and email. With the invoicing payment method, a payment on account of CHF 1,500 is usually required.

EQUIPMENT / CLOTHING

Please wear clothing suitable for the weather:

• Sneakers / sporty shoes preferably with a light-colored rubber sole
• Sweater / windbreaker / rain protection (rain jacket, rain pants)
• Sun protection (sunglasses, sun cream, sun hat)

LIABILITY / PERSONAL INJURY

The driving school and the boat are insured for driving school operations. Damage caused to the boat or to third parties during the driving lesson is covered and the student does not need any additional insurance. In the event of accidents and injuries sustained by the learner without the driving school being at fault, each learner is responsible.

PENANCES

Fines that are clearly caused by the fault of the learner driver shall be borne in full by the learner driver.

ALCOHOL, MEDICATION AND DRUGS

The learner driver undertakes to comply with the legal requirements for driving a vehicle. If alcohol and/or drug abuse and/or the influence of medication is suspected, the driving school reserves the right to refuse or cancel the driving lesson. This will be charged in full.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

The contract comes into force upon registration (verbally, by telephone or online) and ends automatically after passing the practical test. The driving school undertakes to provide the learner driver with flawless and proper training under the aforementioned conditions.

PLACE OF JURISDICTION

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich.
